Project Overview
Modern energy systems, such as smart grids and power distribution networks, face significant adversarial risks due to their reliance on digital technologies. This project focuses on developing innovative detection and prevention strategies to safeguard these systems against attacks targeting communication networks and hybrid vulnerabilities in sensing and communication components.
By analyzing system vulnerabilities and designing effective safeguard methodologies, we aim to create a robust, open-source security framework. This framework would provide realistic proactive protection by distinguishing between maliciously altered and naturally noisy data, ensuring the reliable and resilient operation of critical energy infrastructure.
This project aims to contribute to advancing cyber-physical security in energy systems, fostering trust and reliability in an increasingly interconnected digital era.
