Project Overview
The project develops a closed-loop electromagnetic (EM) heating system for heavy-oil reservoirs by integrating near-field wireless sensing and communications (ISAC) at borehole scale. It will model downhole channels, design robust ISAC waveforms/algorithms, and build a co-simulation platform so real-time sensing and feedback can securely adapt EM heating strategies for improved efficiency and performance.
