Project Overview
This project will extend CO₂ foam transport research to a high-pressure Hele–Shaw (HPHS) system operating under reservoir-relevant conditions. The HPHS platform will enable large-scale visualization, higher pressure gradients, and pressure-dependent CO₂ dissolution effects that microfluidics cannot capture. The finding will advance next-generation CO₂-EOR and storage technologies.
